Turning Deep Geothermal Technology into a Clear, Compelling Investor Story
Overview
Quaise Energy is pioneering a new approach to geothermal energy, leveraging breakthrough drilling technology developed with roots at MIT. The company’s vision is to unlock the Earth’s vast geothermal potential and help meet the growing demand for clean, reliable energy.
The challenge was to translate a highly technical and complex technology into a compelling digital experience—one that could communicate Quaise’s vision, technology, and business potential to investors, partners, and audiences without an engineering background.
The Challenge
Quaise needed a digital presence capable of doing more than explaining its technology. The website needed to build understanding, establish credibility, and generate excitement around the opportunity.
The primary challenge was simplifying a sophisticated technology story without losing its technical credibility, while creating a clear narrative that would position Quaise as a transformative player in the future of energy.
The experience needed to make complex information accessible, engaging, and easy to digest—particularly for investors and stakeholders evaluating the company’s potential.
Design Process
The project began with a comprehensive onboarding process and kickoff session to establish the brand objectives, business goals, audience needs, and desired website functionality.
Following UX/UI approval, I led the design handoff to the development team, providing the necessary assets and specifications for implementation.
As project lead, I remained closely involved throughout development—collaborating with internal teams, resolving design and UX challenges, and conducting rigorous QA to ensure the final product met both functional and visual requirements.
Business Impact
The new website launched in April 2026.
In July 2026, Quaise Energy announced the initial close of its $134 million Series B funding round.
The investment brought Quaise Energy's total funding raised to $230 million.
While funding outcomes are driven by many factors beyond a website, the new digital experience became an important part of Quaise's evolving brand and investor-facing presence—helping communicate the company's technology, vision, and potential at a critical stage of its growth.
The Takeaway
Complex technology doesn't have to mean complicated communication.
The goal was to turn deep science into a story people could understand, believe in, and ultimately invest in.
Turning Complex Technology into Simple Experiences.
Overview
Nusight delivers technology solutions and strategic insights that help organizations work smarter, operate more efficiently, and create better customer experiences. As Creative Director, the challenge was to translate complex capabilities into a clear, intuitive digital experience—bringing together brand, UX, content, and technology into one cohesive ecosystem.
The result was a user-centered experience designed to simplify complexity, communicate value, and position Nusight as a forward-thinking technology partner.
The Challenge
Nusight delivers technology and strategic solutions across complex industries, from aviation and airport operations to connectivity, cargo, and customer experience. The challenge was to translate that technical expertise into a digital experience that felt clear, credible, and human.
The website needed to do more than explain what Nusight does. It needed to make complex solutions easy to understand, create confidence, and guide different audiences toward the areas most relevant to them.
The Creative & UX Vision
I approached the experience by putting clarity, hierarchy, and user intent at the center of the design.
The goal was to transform technical capabilities into a compelling brand story—using UX strategy, content hierarchy, visual storytelling, and intuitive navigation to help visitors quickly understand Nusight's value.
Rather than overwhelming users with technology, the experience was designed to answer three essential questions:
What does Nusight do?
Who does it serve?
How can it make my business better?
The Experience
The result is a digital experience designed to make Nusight's capabilities feel less like a list of technologies and more like a set of solutions to real business challenges.
By combining strategic UX thinking with creative direction, the website creates a clearer path between what Nusight does, the problems it solves, and the experiences it enables.
Technology is complex.
The experience shouldn't be.
Rethinking Energy. Redefining Savings.
Overview
Solar Dynamics is a Florida-based clean energy company focused on helping residential and commercial customers make smarter energy decisions.
Rather than positioning itself simply as a solar panel installer, Solar Dynamics takes a consultative approach—analyzing each customer’s energy consumption, recommending the right technology, and developing a tailored solution designed to maximize efficiency and long-term savings. The company also offers flexible financing options to make clean energy more accessible.
The Challenge
The solar industry can be complex and highly competitive, with customers often unsure about the technology, investment, savings potential, and credibility of different providers.
Solar Dynamics needed to clearly communicate why it was different.
The company’s competitive advantage was its team of experienced engineers, technical expertise, personalized approach, and commitment to high ethical standards. The challenge was to translate those strengths into a digital experience that could build trust, simplify complex information, and give customers confidence to take the next step.
The UX strategy focused on answering the customer’s most important questions quickly:
Can I trust this company? Is solar right for me? How much can I save? And what happens next?
Design Process
The project began with a comprehensive onboarding process and kickoff session to define the brand objectives, business goals, audience needs, and website requirements.
From there, I led the creative and UX direction, translating the company’s technical expertise into a clear and approachable digital experience.
The process included:
Defining the information architecture and user journey
Simplifying complex energy and technology concepts
Establishing a clear content hierarchy and conversion strategy
Creating a visual language that communicated expertise, transparency, and innovation
Designing responsive experiences across key customer touchpoints
Collaborating closely with internal teams throughout development
Conducting rigorous QA to ensure consistency across functional and visual requirements
Solution & Results
The result was a professional, trustworthy, and user-centered digital experience that transformed a complex energy offering into a clear and compelling customer journey.
The new experience positioned Solar Dynamics not simply as a solar installer, but as a trusted energy advisor—making it easier for customers to understand the technology, evaluate their options, recognize the potential savings, and feel confident moving forward.
The digital experience helped strengthen the company’s market positioning and support its continued business growth. Five years after entering the market, Solar Dynamics has experienced significant growth, reinforcing the value of a digital experience built around clarity, trust, and customer needs.
